Join us on Friday 11th July at 5:30pm, as we host best selling author and wild swimmer Sarah Banks for a walk and swim along Grassington's River Wharfe.

About the event
Author and Wild Swimmer Sarah Banks, will be joining us to for a walk and swim along Grassington's River Wharfe, before returning to the Bookshop for a chat and a signing of her new book Wild Swimming Walks: Yorkshire, 28 Waterfall, River and Coastal Days Out.
We will meet at the Stripey Badger Bookshop at 5:30pm, before heading down towards the river. Afterwards we'll return to The Stripey Badger, where after swim coffee and cake will be available. Booking recommended, but tickets are pay as you feel.
The swim will last about an hour (incl time to dry and get dressed.) Please bring your own costume, towel and anything else you may require.
PLEASE NOTE any organised swim walks are free, community focused meet-ups and not guided swim walks. With regard to cold water swimming, your safety is entirely your own responsibility. You enter the water at your own risk…
