All Creatures Great & Small 2023

​The 2023 television (4th) series of All Creatures Great and Small was filmed in Grassington, the base for the fictional market town of Darrowby, in March and May 2023.  Filming did not include Tristam this time – away on war duty – and saw James setting off to do his bit in the RAF.  We saw a new vet on the scene – Richard Carmody, played by James Anthony-Rose.  The setting was very much in the war with rationing in G F Endleby and  a Christmas special. Whilst filming, The Yorkshire Vet film crew and presenters, including Peter Wright, who started work with Alf Wight, also came along to see Grassington being transformed into Darrowby.
